 About Us
Dr. James M. Hutchins
Graduated with honors form Luther
College in 1976, received his Doctor of
Optometry degree from Illinois College
of Optometry in 1980, and has practiced
optometry in Sleepy Eye since then. A
respected member of both the American
Optometric Association and the Minnesota
Optometric Association, he is also a
Fellow of the American Academy of
Optometry.
Dr. Hutchins is board certified in
ocular diagnostics and therapeutics, is
specially trained in assessment and
co-management of LASIK surgery patients,
and has hospital staff privileges at
Sleepy Eye Medical Center. He is active
in the community as past president of
the Jaycees, a member of the Lions club,
the Chamber of Commerce, and the Sleepy
Eye Community Theatre.

and is highly qualified and trained to
